About Where I'm At
Hi everyone, my name is Chris Wilson and welcome.
I created Where I’m At because burnout did not just affect my energy.
It changed my confidence, my work, my health, and the way I saw my life.
What I needed was not more pressure, more performance, or vague encouragement to “find my new direction.”
I needed:
-
honest language for what had happened
-
a steadier way to rebuild
-
practical support that did not feel overwhelming
-
and a clearer path for what came next
Where I’m At grew from that need.

What Where I’m At stands for
Where I’m At exists for working professionals navigating burnout, career transition, and the deeper questions that often follow.
It is built around a simple belief:
-
Burnout can be the beginning of a more honest life.
-
Not in a romanticised way.
-
Not because burnout is a gift.
-
But because it can expose what was no longer sustainable.
This brand is about helping people:
-
understand what happened
-
feel less alone through the stories of others
-
rebuild with more truth and self-respect
-
explore what comes next without pressure to have everything figured out

What I bring
I am not a therapist, doctor, or one-to-one coach.
What I bring is:
-
lived experience
-
honest reflection
-
practical frameworks
-
community building
-
trusted curation
-
and a deep commitment to creating safer, more useful pathways for people navigating burnout and change
Where specialist support is needed, I believe in being clear about that. That is why the wider ecosystem includes trusted expert-led pathways as well.
Why stories matter here
A lot of people understand what is happening to them through the words of others.
Sometimes a story gives language to something you have been carrying alone for years.
That is why storytelling sits at the heart of Where I’m At.
Share. Inspire. Explore. is not just the name of the podcast.
It is also the spirit of the brand:
-
Share honest lived experience
-
Inspire grounded hope
-
Explore what comes next

What guides this work

Grounded hope, real hope, not hype
-
Realism, support that fits actual life
