Course snapshot
Five modules. You do not have to complete them in order. Start with the Snapshot if you're not sure which one you need.
01Module 1 · Start Here
Orientation, and the method everything here uses. Observe: name what's true right now, without pressure or shame. Choose one small experiment to try for three days or a week. Review: did pressure reduce, did anything feel steadier. Then route: choose the next support based on what you noticed.
02Module 2 · Worklife Snapshot
A two-minute work check-in for when work feels loud, messy, unclear, or heavy, and you're not sure what kind of support you need next. Three questions: what feels hardest at work right now, what's the main pressure point, and what kind of support would help. It's a snapshot, not a verdict.
03Module 3 · Script Starter Pack
Steadier words for harder work moments, for when you go blank, over-explain, apologise automatically, or agree too fast. Pause phrases to buy time, simple boundary phrases for capacity and scope, clarity questions, and follow-up language. Every phrase is illustrative and meant to be adapted to your context and your voice.
04Module 4 · Stress Signals and Steadying Habits
Catching the drift earlier. Spotting workday strain sooner, naming your triggers, and testing one or two tiny stabilisers. Early signs come physically, mentally, and behaviourally, and they rarely come out of nowhere. Keep what helps, drop what doesn't.
05Module 5 · Monthly Worklife Check-In
Notice, adjust, route. A light, repeatable monthly reset: three questions, one small adjustment, one next support. Ten minutes, once a month, is plenty. You're not starting over each time, you're taking a reading you've taken before, and over time the check-ins show you patterns.
How to use Worklife Foundations
Everything here uses one simple method, and you'll see it again and again:
- Observe. Name what's true right now, without pressure or shame.
- Experiment. Choose one small step to try for three days or a week.
- Review. Did pressure reduce? Did anything feel steadier?
- Route. Choose the next support based on what you noticed.
Experiments, not performance. Everything here is something to try, not something to pass. Some people find one small experiment is enough to make a workday feel steadier.
What you need / how to prepare
You do not need prior knowledge, and you do not need much time. The Snapshot takes about two minutes.
Approximate is enough. Your only job here is to notice what's true right now. You don't need perfect answers, and you don't need a big plan. You only need enough clarity for the next kind step.
When to pause
If working through this material ever feels overwhelming, it's okay to stop. This space will still be here.
And if work content feels like too much full stop right now, Reset is the kinder starting place. This track will wait.
If you feel unsafe or unable to cope right now, please contact local emergency services or a crisis support line. Support lines you can contact right now.
Lighter support also means lighter pressure. Pausing is allowed.
What this course is not (important)
Worklife Foundations is not:
- Not the full Reinvent Worklife system
- Not a return-to-work programme
- Not a stay, adjust, leave framework
- Not a difficult dynamics curriculum
- Not something you have to complete in order
Lighter support first. Deeper support when you need it.
Educational self-study based on lived experience. Not coaching, therapy, counselling, diagnosis, HR/legal advice, career services, or professional guidance. Examples and scripts are illustrative and must be adapted to your context. For individual medical, psychological, legal, HR, financial, or employment support, consult qualified professionals.
